Using Mozilla 1.7.8. In the folder panel for

mail/news, the envelope icon representing one of

my mail accounts has a padlock on it. The other

mail account does not have a padlock on the

envelope icon. Can someone tell me what the

padlock represents?

Thanks,

I can't tell for Mozilla, but in general it means the message was signed

      and/or encrypted with PGP.

You use secure connection (SSL) for this account.
